The Crescent Convention Centre is owned by The Crescent Convention Centre Trust. The Trust was formed under the Chairmanship of Sri P.V.Ahamed Kutty with the sole intention of building a good quality Auditorium in Chalakudy. The people of Chalakudy and nearby areas were very much feeling the need of having a good quality Auditorium to conduct marriages, betrothals, family get togethers, meetings, symposiums and other social functions. The Trust got the land on lease from Crescent Educational Society which runs the Crescent Public School.
Designed by Architect Mr.C.Najeeb (Najeeb Associates, Eranakulam),the Convention centre, constructed in a grand way, comprises of a beautiful lobby, a large auditorium, a large dining hall where up to 600 people at one time can dine by sitting, a mini auditorium, pantry and kitchen. Its vast parking area where 500 can park at one time is its another great attraction. It has also vast open yard where people can arrange evening functions in summer season.
When Sri. Oomen Chandy, the Chief Minister of Kerala inaugurated the Crescent Convention Centre on 8th December 2012, it was the moment of realising a long time dream of Chalakudy and nearby areas. This function also was very grand in which the honourable of Minister of Co-Operation Mr.C.N.Balakrishnan presided over. Member of Parliament Mr.K.P.Dhanapalan, M.L.A Sri.B.D.Devassy, Adv.Thomas Unniyadan, M.P.Vincent and many other dignitaries participated.
Since its opening in December 2012, the Crescent Convention centre has played host to many great gatherings and functions. Our professional team ensures each event progresses well, according to the plan. Our superior facilities coupled with quality services help to make each event a memorable one.
